In November 2015, the Hungarian Videoton Group - "Contract Manufacturer" bought the majority of the company. TIPA has joined the most valuable Hungarian group of companies after the American Forbes magazine.

In 2007, the Austrian Ricmar Group took over the majority ownership of TIPA Kft. So TIPA could enter in the electronic special machine industry also.

A new era began in 1998. The company has taken the name TIPA Vezérléstechnikai Kft. The shareholders were the company KME GmbH and three individuals.

The company SHK Control Engineering Kft. was founded on 01.07.1995 by german SHK GmbH.(50% ownership) and the hungarian company KME Kft. (50% ownership).
